I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
