Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a crazy ride. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you grow your bankroll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so akin to a wild ride the similarities are striking. As is the case with the popular fairground experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going well for a while before it bottoms out one more time. You must be a gambler that’s able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of black jack is packed full with them.
If you like the tiny coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a fatter wager, then hop on board for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster wild ride because he/she is not thinking on the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you might not naturally remember how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride and your head in the sky. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t remember how "high up" you went but you will clearly remember that disappointing fall as clear as day.
