I have gambled on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
