I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
