I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
