I have bet on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
