I have bet on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
