I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
